KRU Interactive is offering a character restoration service for 'DARK AGES' characters that were deleted in the character purges that occurred in 2005 and 2006. Restoration for prior years' is not possible at the moment, so please do not send requests if you fall under this category.

Players interested in restoring their purged characters, we ask you to read the below information as well as the instructions (Purged and Deleted Characters) in the Knowledgebase for DARK AGES before sending in your Support Tickets.
Purged and Deleted Characters

- The restoration is a very lengthy process, from the initial inquiry to the final restoration. Although we realize your desire for quick response from us, please submit your ticket only ONCE. We will process and reply to the tickets in the order they come in. Sending in multiple tickets will only delay your process further. Please note the overall process could take up to a month or longer, so we ask for your patience.

- There is a processing fee for the restoration. The fee will be 1 UNUSED COUPON CODE OF (Kruna $29.85/3300Kruna) PER CHARACTER. Only PURCHASE the coupon code AFTER receiving CONFIRMATION from us that the purged character can be restored.

Please note that this is a fee, and Kruna will not be added to your account.

Thank you very much for your cooperation.

Maybe he finds it entertaining, and wants an old character back that he also found entertaining. If money isn't an issue, what's the problem? Should he instead invest that same $30 in beer and nascar or something?

I paid $30 back in the day to have Selkhit restored, and I have quite a nice life, tyvm. :)
We had two bags of chips, seventy-five pellets of pez, five sheets of fruit roll-ups, a saltshaker half-full of pixy stix, and a whole galaxy of multi-colored gobstoppers, skittles, and m&ms... Also, a quart of pepsi, a quart of dew, a case of coke, a pint of Dr. Pepper, and two dozen cupcakes. Not that we needed all that for the trip, but once you get into locked a serious junk collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can. The only thing that really worried me were the doritos. There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of a dorito binge, and I knew we'd get into that rotten stuff pretty soon. ~Cronus, "Fear and Loathing in Doritos"

I'd like to restore my love for Selkhit's character.

30 bucks right?
Deikin: Girl, you look hawt damn in your photo! How 'bout you and me meet up for some coffee and sex, and I'm alllll outta coffee.
Aes: I'd love to! The coffee is really just a lead-in to the good stuff anyway. How about you get me some warm milk instead, full of birdseed? ^_________^
Deikin: Sure thing girl; it's high in protein. How would you like that? In a cup, glass, or all over your face?
Aes: Definitely the last option! It's supposed to be really good for the skin.

I was just stating that $30 to have a character back that you obviously didn't give enough nurrz about to not have purged is a little ridiculous. But it was just an opinion, I refuse to pay for Dark Ages anymore and play LoD where you don't have to pay, but thats just me. Not saying you shouldn't get your character back, by all means if that's what you want to do, then do it.

They need money just like anyone else, so its no surprise they would do things that would make you want to spend money. This is a pretty good deal for those who still want to play, or maybe want that legend mark.

How about a novel idea?

Improve the game? It seems to me that if this game had several aspects of this game improved, that people would spend money on it. I am not talking updates, because kru has failed in updates, I am talking about actual improvements.

I really want to like this game again, but ah well. I guess not all things from the 90's can live forever. Except 'nsync, and braveheart. FREEEEDOM!!!
Thanks for making the world a brighter place.

They did but it's Bywyd. He's not known for being well schooled in anything but eating Fried Chikken, Watamelon, and Grapez Kool-Aid. So it doesn't come as a shock or surprise he was just pulling random stuff from his arse.

Edit: fixed repeating word.

Now I'm upset..... I got this today

Quote

Hello,

Unfortunately Nexon purged the character from our files and the purge restoration service can not be provided at the moment. We do not have a set date for our restoration event. At this time we are unsure if we will bring back the restoration service if we do we will post on the website when such an event takes place. We do not offer a service to transfer stats unless the character name is taken during the purge restoration process.

Thank you.

My character was purged in May, 2006.... I don't understand at all. I even have a notice from KRU in Feb, 2006, about my characters and a renewal notification as well. I'm going to email them for more information.

I think you need to kindly remind them that they are now offering the restoration service as stated on their website. :) Maybe that particular employee did not get the memo.

I wouldn't get discouraged, I am sure there was just some misunderstanding!

I really hope so. I may sound silly, but I'd be heart broken if this guy was gone forever. I've had Carnaugh since Deoch 7 and I have so many fond memories attached to him.

I think I know what I did wrong - I sent the first ticket to account/billing. I resubmitted it to DARKAGES SUPPORT and got a reply requesting ownership verification. Here's hoping I get confirmed!

How long does it take to hear back from them? They asked me for details on my account, which I provided, over a week ago and they still haven't responded. The suspense is killing me.

You have never tried getting support from KRU before have you?

I would spend $30 on Dark Ages because I enjoy playing the game and the friends that I have in the game. They did not turn down me down when I submitted a ticket to get my Deoch 23-26 characters restored, and seem to follow the standard procedure. Maybe I will just have to pay a little extra... >> As to why, they are my original characters, and the Legendary Aisling bit is pretty nifty too.
