-Bring a rogue/priest or rogue/wizard.
For sure, maiden trap will save you a lot of would-be deaths.
Good luck, hope someone will post better information for you by the time I get back. :)
Edit: Oh, I forgot to explain why you need maiden trap. For the Kelberoth, maiden trapping it is the safest way to kill it without getting skulled so much. I also suggest asking someone that is experienced with the quest to guide you guys... and take your time if it means everyone makes it out all right.
Okay, have to go for real now. Bye bye :)

And except for the Kelberoth summons. A good safety rule is to have all 4 sides of the summons surrounded at all times and as quickly as possible!
If not it summons more creatures to protect it. The creatures appear right next to the summon so surrounding it usually works to lullify these extra annoyances. I've argued and proven that point.
Good rule of thumb too. If the creatures "speak" to you in an area more than likely they can possibly skull half your group with spammed Holy spells. If they speak to you use suian traps on em cuz they Ao Dall.
Uhm uhhmm yeah finda good person to guide ya around or obtain a map of the Mountains. I think I saw one posted on the board near the temple in Ruc.
As well as the rizz or riest try to havea wizz of some sort with a powerful MSPG for the Tauren Creant.

Note that the kelberoth basically requires you to use maiden traps (use a rogue/priest with the gm staff, or a rogue/wizard to spam maidens, then set the kelberoth up so he's trapped and will walk over them repeatedly. It's hard to explain, but it's really the only way to kill it...unless you have 4 maxed monk/warrs who want to assail it for about 3 hours....

Forgive me if I'm wrong but they cast Holy spells to my knowledge. *confused* Look like Dark but are holy.
Tho I do agree they are more deadly by manner, wouldn't you ifya hadda live there with the annoying penguins?
Maybe you are thinking of the Shamen Quest?
*bashful*
I trust your quest went/goes well tho.
=)

Also, (I don't think, anyway) cubes are a bit less dangerous than the tauren critters, since cubes at least can be blinded...

The Tauren itself is easy enough if you keep it surrounded on all 4 sides and MDC. Only problem we had was when the riz skulled and one of us had to move to red him, then all hell broke out with about 20 duplicates of the creant appearing. A max int wiz with max mspg could have been really quite handy at that point.

maidens work wonders on the kelberoth but the easiest way is...
wait for biomagus to come :) I watched her basically solo 5 kelbs, she had a friend stand in front of her to block/trap them in the center spawn area, then she just mspged them all. It took less time than maidens and she can kill an unlimited number of them. If she's not there, any wizzy will do.
Just dont ever EVER bash a kelberoth, thats when they summon dire wolves.
You'll need bashers for the creant only.
