Double Punch Change animation?

All the monk armors can show both monk assail (the silly punch) and normal assail, just that none of the monk assails use that animation.
This is rather annoying, considering that almost no headgear, except for dugons and master stuff, "works" with monk assail. In fact, the pure GM monk weapon is not even compatible with the monk assail, the pheonix claws goes invisible when you assail.
A simple solution would be to change doublepunch animation to use that of default assail, instead of copying the character's "assail" animation.
That way any monk, and not just war/monks, can choose what animation to use instead of being forced to only use the monk one.

Now the reason I suggested changing double punch is because it would give the monks the CHOICE, to use either animation.
Any monk would still be able to use the old one simply by having assail first in their skillpage, just like they now can use the kick by placing triple kick first. I dont see any reason why they shouldnt do this.
